History

The name ANAVALOS comes from the ancient spring at a distance of 30 km away from the factory and one of the largest natural water sources in Europe.

A small production unit of vertical turbine pumps was founded in 1965 in Argos, responded to the needs of an intense industrialization of agriculture, as well as postwar urban development.

It soon acquired its own industrial facilities with production units and efficiency testing laboratories. Its remarkably positive impact on the market impelled it to expand to submersible pumps as well, in 1980.

With modernization and production standardization it improved productivity and created propitious circumstances for export activities to which it has turned since 1990 with constantly enhanced results since then.

In 2000 it incorporated in the production line booster systems, waste water and drainage pumps. The Increase in turnover and export led the company to significant restructuring in 2000, by opening new Branch in Athens, and a year later new Branch of Northern Greece and S.E. Europe in Thessaloniki. At the same time an export sales network of more than 30 countries around the world is created.
